DAVONE ALEXIS
Editor
Crafting Cinematic Tales, One Frame at a Time
In 2012, Davone's life changed when he attended a workshop by Sam Pollard, discovering the art of film editing's storytelling essence. Fresh to New York and navigating unemployment, he realized editing was more than software—it was crafting human narratives. This epiphany led him to commit to film editing. Studying editing principles, Davone now shapes captivating stories seen in Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody and TV shows like A Black Lady Sketch Show. He sees editing as an ongoing journey, aiming to create enduring narratives. Off-duty, he's either traveling, with family or enjoying memes on Instagram.
